There is a good assortment of gameplay variety, but under the surface you'll find that the gameplay is very linear. It provides a nice break from the playable characters. The vehicle is responsive, which is a good thing since you'll have to maneuver it around obstacles and other dangerous surprises. While playing as a cab driver, you'll drive the vehicle around town as you meet an assortment of characters. One of the playable characters is in handcuffs, which make it difficult to perform such moves, but the challenge increases as she's being hunted by the law. You'll have to climb walls, jump chasms, shimmy on ledges, cross makeshift bridges, as well as outrun gushing waters and avoid falling structures. As the city collapses around you, you'll encounter all sorts of obstacles that will require skillful control manipulation as well as some deep thinking in order to solve puzzles. She needs help finding her frail stepmother. Your first friend-in-need is a coworker, Stephanie. As the typical video game hero, you're not only about saving your own butt, you're compelled to help those in need. Starting as Josh Harwell, you will find yourself and your island surroundings threatened by a cataclysmic flood of biblical proportions. You'll even get to play as Keith Helm from the original Disaster Report.
It's interesting to see how things evolve, not to mention that you're not stuck with one or two characters throughout the entire game. They eventually come into contact with each other. It revolves around different characters taking part in different scenarios. Still, the story is quite good and told in such a way as to really pique your interest. It should have been recreated from scratch. Much of the problem with the production values can be attributed to adapting this Japanese game to the North American market. At times, the floodwaters look like green carpeting.
More discerning players will note the plain graphics, trial and error gameplay, and blurry textures. We hope you will enjoy the List as usual. It's unlikely that anyone could overlook the terrible voiceacting and wooden animation. So thank you again for all your patience and your support. The 2nd disadvantage is, it can take some time when your edits from each Template get's displayed on the Main List but further Testing will be needed to improve this (I will catch an eye on that). The small disadvantage is, you can't edit several Letters simultaneously (you need one Edit for "A", one for "B", one for "C" and so on). The Good thing is, when you click on "Edit" on each Letter, you will be redirected directly to the correct Template where you can make your edits. This means you will need to edit the Template for each Letter instead of the List itself. While we kept the Design from the List, we was forced to change the structure. The Design keeps unchanged, so the List is still complete and not splitted etc.Load Times are heavily reduced and those "Blank Pages" shouldn't happen so quickly in the future.Just a quick overview what changes are affected: There is still some work needed to find a 100% solution but from now, you can make your edit's again. The Team behind the Wiki did a hard Job to reduce the loading times and to avoid those "Blank Pages" while keeping the Design unchanged and the List completed.
